1: I took the opportunity to switch her pilot for something a bit more fitting. He doesn't show up too well behind the amber cockpit, but y'know.

2: The head might've been the hardest part, getting it split in half without messing with the tubes on the neck. The rest of the limbs took time but were pretty okay. I fixed some of my colour errors from the original build, too!

3: And here she is finished. So shiny!

4: Fallen soldiers. It's a lot of now-unused parts!

A macro photograph of Abigail's modified head. Her "horns" have been replaced with shiny silver ones, and her upper and lower teeth are chromed as well. The control console on the HMM gun sniper also happens to connect on a peg, rather than a movable joint, so the new golden pilot (taken from the dibison, Amelia) is somewhat entombed in there. It looks pretty good though!
A photograph of all four of Abigail's limbs laid out in a line. The missile hatches on the hips and shoulders now have very shiny lids, and the arms have some gorgeous chromed silver armour on the underside of the forearm and the elbows. Meanwhile the legs have had several parts switched out, with grey hip parts and chromed silver thighs, front shin armour, and large toes.
A photograph of Abigail reassembled with her full suite of silver teeth, toes, missile hatches, and limb armour. The picture does a surprisingly good job of conveying just how shiny this stuff is. As a very nice side-benefit, the missile hatch lids were actually a little loose in some cases, but the chrome plating is a coat that goes on over the plastic, so they're actually tighter than they were and should be easier to keep open now, when desired.
A photograph of a bunch of plastic parts in a pile on the desk. Mostly they're the grey parts which have been switched out for silver, but the hip pieces which were erroneously blue before are also here, swapped for the proper grey parts on the model. There's a few more parts, but I cleared them off before deciding to just pile everything up partway through the process. They're in a bag in the original box now. No sense wasting them, just in case anything breaks in the future!
